The specific list of parts that are replaced during
ReCrafting fall into a number of categories depending on the age
and condition of the cabinet as follows:
Automatic replacement with new parts:
Hood, logo mirror, suction cups, outmoded parts (if possible), new
rubber drive roller system (that lengthens the life of your cloth
roll towels), and any broken parts.
Excessively worn parts replacement:
Any part that has excessive wear is replaced. If a front drive roller
is replaced, we automatically replace the cam. In most cases, if
either the front or rear drive roller is replaced, the other roller
is also replaced.
Rusty parts:
Excessively rusty parts, even if functional, are replaced. In most
cases, if either the front or rear drive roller is replaced, the
other roller is also replaced.
Updates in mechanisms:
Where feasible, we install the latest version of the time delay
mechanism. We will install a new steel cam if the unit has the old
style nylon or brass cam.
If the rear or front drive roller is worn, we will replace them
both with the latest version of the drive rollers. Old style brown
backs are replaced with a new black
back or it will be painted black
.
Replacement of exterior parts for cosmetic
reasons:
These parts include: towel guide, bin and back. If these plastic
parts do not meet our standards, they are replaced (if a back has
paint on it, we may elect to either spray paint the edges black
or replace it).
Bent and dented parts:
If parts cannot be straightened or are not serviceable, they are
replaced.
Missing parts:
All missing parts will be replaced at additional cost.
Cleaning:
The cabinet is thoroughly cleaned inside and outside.
