Processing
Times for DARMAN Machines
|
 The
Darman Towel Winder is used for winding only. It is usually
purchased by a medium to large volume laundry.
The winder has a built in beater bar which helps straighten the washed
toweling, insuring that it will roll up smooth and straight.
By changing the length of the drive belt, the processing time to roll
a towel can be varied from 40 seconds to 21 seconds(with ironed towel).
The motor on the winder runs continuously using a mechanical foot
pedal to engage the drive roller and beater bar.

 The
Single Lane Unwinder
is used only for unwinding and flaking the soiled towel as it comes
in to be washed. It is normally purchased by a medium to large volume
laundry.
The unwinder is easily loaded and unloaded by only one operator, and
automatically unwinds the towel once it is loaded. The flake (flat
fold) length of the towel can be adjusted, and an electric towel sensor
automatically turns off the machine if the towel wraps around the
drive roller.

Double Lane Unwinder is a high volume unwinder that is
normally purchased by the large volume laundry.
The Double Lane Unwinder is similar to our Single Lane Unwinder,
but has the capacity to unwind two rolls at the same time. One operator
can easily operate this machine and therefore double production.

Basic Combo is an "entry level" combination winder
and unwinder built expressly for the small volume laundry.
The Basic Combo has a winding capability similar to the Auto Combo,
but unwinding requires manual operation to flake (flat fold) out the
towel with a "hand operated" swing arm.
The Basic Combo has separate drive rollers for the clean and soiled
towel.

Auto Combo is a more sophisticated winder and unwinder.
In contrast to the Basic Combo, the unwinding of the towel is automatic.
This machine is normally purchased by a small volume laundry, or
by a medium or large volume laundry as a "backup" to other
processing equipment.
There are separate drive rollers for the clean and soiled towels.
