MICROFIBER OUT PERFORMS COTTON PRODUCTS
Why do the Darman “Super D” products perform so well? To find out you need to know a little about what a split micofiber is and how it works.
Split micofiber is a special yarn that is as small as .2 denier or less than 1/100 th the diameter of a human hair, which is about 20 times smaller than typical cotton fibers. The filament is very fine, very strong and very light weight. The wedge shaped pieces of polyester, together with the nylon core (see cross section below), and the smallness of the filaments allows much greater surface contact and conformity to the area to be cleaned. The softness and material used enables these products to be scratch free allowing them to be used on almost any surface.
HOW IT WORKS:
- Microfiber holds 6-8 times its weight in liquid.
- Each fiber is 100 times finer than a human hair! (This is the secret of microfiber’s incredible cleaning ability).
- Open spaces between the fibers hold dust, dirt, and oil until washed away.
- Millions of spaces allow large amounts of liquids to be wicked into the spaces between the fibers (not into the fiber itself).
- Liquid and dirt is collected in the spaces (not the fibers) which allows the products to be cleaned easier, dried much faster, and to be much more resistant to mold or mildew.

Ordinary Cloth |
 |
 |
- Millions of tiny ‘scoops’ pull dirt up inside the cloth where they remain until washed away.
- Results are clean, steak free surfaces.
- Using a light spray of water helps emulsify dirt and oil, making it easier for the split micofiber cloth to pick it up.
- Its high absorbency will quickly clean up spills.
|
- Tends to push dirt around.
- Residue is left behind on the surface area you’re cleaning.
- The surface of ordinary fiber cloth allows it to hold very little dirt.
- The liquid and dirt penetrates the natural cotton fibers causing staining and making it much more difficult to clean.

MICROFIBER WASHING INSTRUCTIONS: Suitable for cleaning by commercial/industrial laundries. Dry at low temperatures. Do not use fabric softeners. Chlorine bleach can cause fading. Excessive bleach can degrade the products.
